LinkedIn not working for you?
For those of you not sure what LinkedIn is – please visit their site. I’m not getting paid by them or through any of their agents to write this (though I wish I was getting paid:).
LinkedIn is a professional networking site that a lot of recruiters use to build a pipeline of passive candidates, and network with other industry professionals.
Frank apparently has found no use for it. I have an idea Frank – If it’s not working out for you, go ahead and disable your account so you stop getting calls and unwanted emails. It’s that easy. Or is it that he has yet to learn how to harness the power of LinkedIn? You spent money on attending workshops on how to use LinkedIn!! Come on buddy, the site is about as user friendly as it gets but you had to pay someone to show you how to use it?
Don’t whine about it because for every headhunter that says they find LinkedIn useless, I can show you 20 headhunters that find it as a quality resource. You are definitely in the minority that is not using yet another resource available in your arsenal.
